This “Only revelation” is your extra-quranic idea/thought. I asked you earlier, provide me a verse in which God states that “only revelation…” is given to the prophet. If it is so, you should be able to bring one verse, that would be end of the story.

Great question! A believer’s duty is to ponder over these verses and then implement these in one’s life. Why God did this, not that, etc. are God’s prerogatives. Mortals cannot question God, rather He will question them. In Quran, there are at least two rites handed down to us from Ibrahim. Those are Salat and Hajj. In both cases, the main principal elements are mentioned clearly, leaving minor details to the exalted prophet. For salat, those main physical elements are Qiam, Ruku, and Sujood.

By claiming extra revelation you do not have to quote from the hadith but the result is the same; number 2 islam.”
“every innovated practice in Islam” was not there when these verses were revealed, rather innovation occurred when Quran was neglected years following the departure of exalted prophet. Neglecting Quran does not need so called Hadith-conspiracy. It is still going on by those who claim to follow the Quran, as an example, yet they don’t rely on Hadith. So where is the problem? Not in this verse or the verses of the Quran, rather within the soul of those who pretend to get rid of real and imagined innovations.
N2I is what is not found in Quran. If something is found in Quran, though you don’t agree with it for whatever reason, it does not become N2I. Salat is one of the fundamental commands in Quran. Its basic and fundamental elements are mentioned in Quran and are practiced even by so called N2I.
