I hope the following series of remarks and questions will highlight the absurdities of your claims.
jawaid: qibla is the direction people should look towards for guidance on Deen.
Masjid Alharam in Mecca is a Qibla for Muslims. Should Muslims look towards this building for guidance or guidance is in Quran available with them? Can I have a verse stating what you are stating?
jawaid; Moses had Guidance from Allah, how to live etc so established each home of his followers as a place they and other people could turn to for knowing this Guidance.
LoL. Moses had Guidance from God. Should people turn to Moses for this Guidance or to the four walls of their houses for the guidance which is not in their houses but with Moses?
Jawaid: No, all Messengers delivered a Message of humanitarian values which are presented to the rulers and the people. The bases of establishing a qibla in each home was precisley because the ruler did not accept this and they could not establish a central qibla. Like Medina for a time and then re-established Mecca at the time of the Last Messenger. The Qibla is tied to salat because salat is DOING EVERYTHING, BOTH PERSONALLY [IN HOME/AT WORK], AND GOVERNMENTAL [COUNCIL, PARLIAMENT] ACCORDING TO THE TEACHINGS OF ALLAH, so when required there is a qibla to turn to, go to, look for direction from, in all matters of Deen.
Another LoL. Teachings of Allah are in Quran. As per your misconceived notion, people are doing Salat, i.e. following the Quranic teachings personally and collectively. What is left to be “when required”? Should they look into the Quran for directions when required or to a distant building somewhere which contains the directions for them? Masjid Alharam, Kaa’ba is a physical structure. You think it has directions written all over it for people to “look for direction.” My brother, insanity all around.
jawaid: Blind recitation of words you do not understand that He has given you to understand and physical prostration is not bringing you closer to Allah, but, sorry to be blunt, the ground.
Did someone stop you from doing non-blind recitation? Did someone stop you from not understanding what the book is saying? More importantly, Where does the book say, do blind recitation in Salat? You are bringing your ignorance to bear on the book.
jawaid; Dawood has said he has no preconceived ideas but is presenting the N2I version for all the meanings.
Verses are in Arabic, not just Arabic but Arabic Mubeen. Dawood within his limitations is merely going with the Grammar, context, tasreef, and just plain God-given deductive reasoning to put 2+2 together. I am not running with my wild notions as you do to misinterpret “what should these be” vs. “what these actually are.” If this is N2I, then you have no idea what N2I is? Secondly, would you discard the “truth” because it came through the mouth of a liar?
Please, don’t drag Dr. Sahib in here for your misconceived notions and misunderstandings. I am indebted to Dr. Sahib for his guidance as and when I needed. Dr. Sahib is my mentor and honored brother.
