LoL, Jawaid bhai, there is nothing allegorical about the events witnessed by the people. Moses was a messenger of God, he delivered a message to Pharaoh. That message was “let children of Israel go with me...” You are making clear and Mubeen verses allegorical, and stating that Taurat was in part given here and in part there.
Further, I am not taking about what Moses did or his “Asah” did. I am simply stating that Moses’ sign was his “asah when thrown”. It was the same “asah” he had even before becoming a messenger of God [20:17-18]. Thus, your claim of Taurat part here and part there is simply not true.
You wrote: “Read the last two verses to see that it was not a snake that would transform their understanding about life and the universe, but REVELATION.”
Did I talk about Snake etc? No. I am referring to what sign Moses had. I am using the exact Arabic word so that you may not deflect it left and right. The last two verses are supposed to be read in conjunction with what Moses’ task was. If task was “let children of Israel go with me and don’t torment them” then that is the message. It is obvious that Moses and his brother would need to talk to Pharaoh and have a conversation to begin with to get the children of Israel out of Egypt. In this conversation, they may have exchanged greetings too, book does not elaborate on this. Moses talked about God and that he is the messenger of God, yes. That was the truth, you are referring to? What other revelations you are referring to? None. God did not give him any other task at this stage? Taurat was revealed to him after 40 nights. There is no doubt in it.
[7:142-145]: And We made an appointment with Moses for thirty nights and perfected them by [the addition of] ten; .. ….. [Allah] said, "O Moses, I have chosen you over the people with MY MESSAGES and MY WORDS [to you]. ..."And We wrote for him on the TABLETS of all things - instruction and explanation for all things, [saying], "Take them with determination and order your people to take the best of it. I will show you the home of the defiantly disobedient."
[2:51-53]: And [recall] when We made an appointment with Moses for forty nights. Then you took [for worship] the calf after him, while you were wrongdoers…… And [recall] when We gave Moses the Scripture and criterion that perhaps you would be guided.
God is talking about "writing on the Tablets" during this 40 nights stay, same is called the book in 2:53. It is obvious TABLETS = Scripture = Criterion = instruction and explanation for all things, and that was Moses' Taurat.
