No brother, doubting is not related to the “agreed upon” approach, rather I doubt those who would do the “agreed upon approach.” And this is abundantly clear in your own response. I have borrowed the word “fairy tales = hadith” from Br. Jawaid. You are putting it on its head. “agreed upon” approach is not going to result in fairy tales rather “agreed upon” approach would be subjected to fairy tales which is already the case in moon sighting. This is how sects subject clear verses to their desires, thereby keeping the sectarianism alive.
