The face of America is changing. Islamophobia, stereotypes and hate against Islam and Muslims are here and real. Hate used to be on the fringes of society. Now, Islamophobia is part of the mainstream. This escalation of anti-Muslim bigotry and Islamophobia has truly gotten out of control.
Thankfully, some interfaith leaders and politicians, even in the GOP are speaking out. But, we need many more voices. This is not the America that we know and love, that received the Pilgrims and found a place for the Quakers that built its cities through immigrant sweat and tears. We must not turn our backs on this legacy. This is a critical moment in our history as a nation. Read more

From my study of the Seerah (biography) of the Prophet, I am convinced that no Christian or Jew who studies his life without preconceived notions would fail to notice the nobility of his character, the holiness of his mission, and the reaffirmation of their own scriptures.
Muslims, Christians, and Jews make up almost two-thirds of the world’s population. The world would immensely benefit if the people of these three Abrahamic faiths could unite on some basic principles. Read more
The Prophet Muhammad Recognized, as a Great Law-Giver, by US Supreme Court in 1935
There is a frieze in the Supreme Court building that depicts the Prophet Moses and Prophet Mohammed, may peace be on him among others.
The frieze, which is a sculpture installed in a wall, were sculpted by Adolph Weinman in 1932. Weinman sculpted 18 people through history who have had an impact on our concept of law, as well as allegorical figures depicting some great legal concepts.
