AoA, Thank you gentlemen for very apt responses and I agree with most of it, but discarding any such notion that our sworn enemy might have had some hand in what happened in the recent past is like hiding from the reality, I agree that we need to devote ourselves in the progress of our beloved country through social reforms and education but we can not deny the fact that there are forces who don't leave a chance to inflict a wound on our already battered body. We can't just call it another conspiracy theory and walkaway...
With all that happened in the past decade, the world has seen the so called "conspiracy theories" turn into realities. Even in the west they hardly use that word since the possibility have become more and more obvious,
Americans and the 'loyal than the King' type Pakistanis used to say CIA meddling in Pakistan is just another 'conspiracy theory' until Raymond Davis and hundreds of CIA terrorists were caught secretly in contact with anti Pakistan terror groups and were expelled en masse by ISI's previous chief. Now the Indian copycats use the same line when confronted with evidence of Indian terrorism against Pakistan. Next time you see an Indian or an Indian apologist in denial, remind him that PM Manmohan Singh accepted our evidence of Indian involvement in terrorism in Balochistan at the Pak-Indian summit in Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt.
BTW I don't always agree with what AQ says and hardly agree with anything that Zaid Hamid rants about but I believe that both of these gentlemen are true patriots & are breath of fresh air among the Najam Sethis and likes of them in this cesspool of foreign funded media who are mixing falsehood with truth to create a very hazy picture of even the very creation of Pakistan and it's history and in doing so they don't even mind questioning the true intentions of our founding fathers.
These people remind me of the early Hadith writers who very conveniently did the same thing with Islamic history and were successful in creating the present day counterfeit Islam that Mohtram Dr. Shabbir Ahmad refer to as number two Islam or N2I :)
