Muhtaram Saeed Qureshi Saheb, AA

The honorable CJ richly deserves your superb tribute. Probably, he is the epicenter of our hopes.

I am afraid, the persistent non-compliance by our deplorable government might paint a negative image of the SC since people tend to assess personnel and organizations only by the results they achieve.

[Mirza Ghalib makes a common human folly - "All is well that ends well."]

But the Qur'an lays great emphasis on sincerity of purpose. The means are no less important than the ends achieved.

53:39 Every human being shall be responsible for his works, and compensated for, his labor.

53:40 His effort (and not the results) will be seen.

18:83 (O Messenger) they ask you about Zul-Qarnain. Say, "I will convey to you something by which he is worth remembering."

18:84 We established him in power on earth and granted him the ways and means to accomplish his objectives.

18:85 He set out for an expedition choosing the right means to the right end.

18:89 (After establishing peace in the West) he once again chose the right means to achieve the right end. [He set forth to an expedition towards the East]

Dear Sir,

It is an honor to have a writer of your caliber among our midst.

Best regards
