Respected Sister, Wa Salamun alaikum!
It is the same story throughout the world. Qur'an-oriented Muslims are still less than 15% around the globe and they are scattered. The situation is still much better than it was in 2000 when we constituted less than 10%.
Our highest concentration is in Lahore, Pakistan due to Idara Toluislam founded by Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam M.A. Jinnah in 1938 and resumed after independence by Allama G.A. Parwez in 1948. And then in Florida due to www.ourbeacon.com founded in 1999 in Ft Lauderdale by Shabbir.
There is no concentration of Qur'an-oriented Muslims in a single town in Malaysia to my knowledge.
STRATEGY: Use Hijab temporarily in order to assimilate easily with women in your town. That way you will find much acceptability. Then you may preach the Quranic Islam gently in the form of asking questions like a student. Remember that the N2I people have no basis to stand on and that is why they have big EGOS.
When you ask them gentle questions like a student, they will love to think within a few days or weeks and understand that they are traversing the wrong path. Within 2-3 months you should be able to form a new open-minded circle/group.
To my knowledge, no one has translated QXP in any Malaysian language.
Please tell me the impact of Mahathir Mohamad on Malaysian society.
PM Hasina Wajid of Bangladesh and PM of Turkey have brought forth a positive change in their countries in a few years.
Please NEVER be discouraged. This week we had five new Muslims at our home and 25 N2Is returning to the Qur'an :-) Much of this has been possible because of generous contributions like yours and my biological and intellectual children.
May Allah reward you and them!
Salams and best regards from lovely Farida :-) She honors you.
How is Br Abdur Rahman?
Your affectionate elder Brother Shabbir and Sister Farida.
