There is a difference between versions and translations. If I am not mistaken, you have a list of different translations just like we have Quran translations by Yusuf Ali, Mohammed Azad, Dr Saab, etc.

Different Bibles can be seen by the Roman Catholic version which has 73 books within it, while the Protestant version has only 66. Samaritan Jews do not accept anything after the first five books of the Hebrew scriptures, calling anything after them as tales written by Jewish scribes, so we have another Bible version. The Bibles we have today are based on thousands of ancient manuscripts where no two are exactly the same, so the translators become ‘authors’ who pick and choose words they feel should be treated as original, dismissing others as latter interpolations; they use ‘personal opinion’!

One Bible scholar who worked on a translation into English summed up the process involved:-

“We had to sacrifice the truth for understanding”.
