10:4 To Him is your return, of all of you. God’s promise is the unwavering truth. He created the first creation, and He will create it again, so that He may reward with justice those who attain belief and do works that help the society....

44:39 We have not created them without Purpose. But most of them know not.

45:22 God has created the heavens and earth with a definite Purpose, and in order that every ‘self’ may be compensated for what it has earned. ...

Dear friends,

The Qur'an states quite a few times that God has created the Universe and the little we humans with a definite Purpose. And that Purpose is [just recompense] that no action goes unrewarded or without consequence.

We know that the Universe is running according to unchangeable Divine laws. In the Universe, our planet earth is like a drop in the ocean.

Why would Allah create the almost infinite Universe so that our actions do not go unrewarded?

Did He create the Universe for the little 'we'? [10:4, 44:39, 45:22]

MAN IS NOT THE CROWN OF CREATION. Contrary to popular belief, He has favored humans over very many of His creations, but not as the most favored.

17:70 Surely, We have conferred dignity on children of Adam (as a birth right, regardless of where the child is born), and provided them with transport on land and sea and given them decent things of life. We have favored them over very many of those whom We have created.

GREATER WAS THE CREATION OF THE HEAVENS AND EARTH.

40:57 Surely, greater than the creation of the humans, is the creation of the heavens and the earth....]
79:27 What! Are you the more difficult to create or is the heaven that He built?
So, humans cannot be the Crown of Creation.

BUT:

"When a man strikes his balance dishonestly, it affects the balance of the Universe."
- Julian Huxley

How do our actions affect the Universe? Is not our existence less than minuscule in the incredibly vast expanse?

I think, this question has never been addressed before.

We might get the answer from the Qur'an itself. Science will probably take a few decades to reach there.

QUESTIONS:
1. HOW DO OUR ACTIONS OR THEIR IMPRINTS AFFECT THE UNIVERSE AND GET PRESERVED THERE?
2. THERE MUST BE SOME SUPREME DIVINE WISDOM BEHIND CREATING THE INCREDIBLY VAST EXPANSE OF THE UNIVERSE ONLY TO ENSURE A JUST COMPENSATION FOR US.
3. WHAT IS THAT WISDOM?
4. GOD COULD HAVE KEPT THINGS SIMPLE. WHY DIDN'T HE?
5. ARE WE GOING TO SAY, "WE DON'T KNOW"?
6. OR, THERE ARE SOME CLUES IN THE QUR'AN!

THERE IS A HADITH QUDSI:

"LAU LAAKA KAMA KHALAQTUL AFLAAK."
[Allah said, "O Muhammad! If it was not for you and you were not made to exist, I would have not created the Universe."]

Considering the above verses, this Hadith sounds right to me since Muhammad (S) was the most perfect man ever to set foot on planet earth. It is simple to understand. The Universe was created for mankind, and Muhammad (S) was a model of perfection for mankind and, thus, sent for all humanity. Without a supreme, top most model of creation, the creation of the Universe would have been imperfect.

Let us try.
