I have to disagree with your definition of 'good government.' In a democracy the majority determines the rules, and government acquiesces to the whims of the majority. Democracy is not the Deen, and to judge it as such is naive.
While fathers of American democracy had great ideals, what is practiced is far from it. Practicality, expediency, and the art of compromise will generally produce middle of the road results. All Western democracies are middle of the road or less on the humanitarian scale when compared to the Deen.
I do not think this forum should be used as a platform to criticize other religions, cultures, countries and push conjecture and conspiracy theories. This type of rhetoric takes away from the mission of Our Beacon. This forum must stick to 'our mission' and not turn off truth seekers.
