The references quoted by Dr Shabbir are:-
"Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas?
Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. He was the son, so it was thought, of Joseph,
[the words “so it was thought” are in brackets in most Bibles because they are not in the most ancient manuscripts; they are a latter forgers words which are still included in some modern Bibles! Un-Holy inspired forgery!]
All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. "Isn't this Joseph's son?" they asked.
They said, "Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, 'I came down from heaven'?"
Read together with the others, it is proof enough that the contemporaries and early followers of Jesus knew him only as a man born naturally; a “Son of man”, and was only a “Son of God” because he followed God’s way, not a virgin conception which is pagan ideology.
We all become sons and daughters of God, in the Biblical sense, by upholding the commandments of God.
