AOA, Dear Brother Sidqi, I guess we both are going in two different directions. Your point is legit and understood very well, being weak and beaten by bullies, I know, what do you mean, " hai jurm-e-zaeefi ki saza marg-e-mafajat ..."
And Muslim Ummah is lagging behind in every aspect of life... agreed
My point is, this was not a Warship fleet, it was an humanitarian flotilla, if you read brother Mubasher's post,
the authorities at Cyprus seaport, made sure that no one will allow to carry any weapon on board these ships. It was
a peaceful mission to help the helpless with food, medicine and other essential supplies.
The ship was carying National of 50 different countries, including Europeans, Asians and Africans, even some Israeli citizens.
I understand your frustration, I feel the same. But if not condemnations & resulations, then what course of action would you suggest, untill we have that 'power'?
The time is changing, media has become so powerful that it is playing a major role in world politics and decision making. American Govt. always gives in to American public pressure(or they care about public opinion, read Dr. Saheb's post), so far Jewish lobby has controlled & manipulated American media especially TV, but more and more people are turning to Internet for News and other info, even if American TV networks blackout everything about this incident or do their usual one sided propaganda, our protests and condemnation can reach the good old American public, and believe me, there are plenty of good people here who could pressure their Govt. to take some action regarding this barbaric act. Burying our necks in the sand is not going solve any thing. Atrocities commited by Israel in the past were ignored by the West, may be this time around it will proved to be a hard to swallow pill for Israel. Just don't give up so easily. Fi Amaan Allah
