‘History is written by the victors’, so no nation is free of corruption. I have just read two newspapers about the same story and found different accounts of what happened; that was yesterdays news, so what about 1400 years ago?
We should all critically examine every aspect of our past, what our ancestors gave us and not become like those who take them for ‘lords and patrons’:-

2:257 God becomes the Close Guide of those who, after due reflection, have chosen to believe in His Word (12:108). He brings them out of darkness into Light (through the Qur’an). Those who deny the Divine System of Life have human "authorities" as patrons to lead them from Light to darkness. Such people have chosen Fire to be their eternal companion.

I have no doubt that just like the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi texts, we Muslims will one day find documents about our true history; then the Mullahs will have to come up with other excuses for their false practices.
