Dear MohYam Saheb,

Unfortunately, not a single AUTHENTIC piece of paper since the blessed times of the exalted Prophet survives today, in fact, since much earlier. The Abbasid Empire lasted from 750 to 1258 CE. When some Abbasid caliphs and scholars around 850-900 CE tried to collect some historical records of the Islamic Empire, they failed to discover a single AUTHENTIC paper related to the exalted Prophet, and even to Khilafat-e-Rashida, whose last caliph, Hazrat Ali, was assassinated in 40 Al-Hijra (661 CE).

It is mind-boggling to note that Madinah has never been invaded by an enemy force, or been subjected to fire, flood, earthquake or any other natural disaster of significant proportions during the last 14 centuries.

Numerous documents, files and books before 850 CE were either burned or concealed by the elite for their vested interests.

For details, you may read KARBALA: FACT OR FICTION (Urdu) or as a chapter in ISLAM:THE TRUE HISTORY AND FALSE BELIEFS (English) by Shabbir Ahmed, M.D.
