Dear Sidqi, Salaamun 'Alaikum,

I understand fully where you are coming form and the results that you hope to see from such an endevour, but Dr Shabbir is right, it will not change anything. It is NOT the language that causes people to follow N2I, it is the MINDSET and SHIRK TENDENCIES which cause people to embrace N2I.

But I do believe that you are on to something when you mention that knowledge of the Arabic language can be a possible solution to said problem. If you are truly serious about exposing the Arabic language for the sake of the Quran then the BEST use of one's time, energy and talents would be to do the following two things....

1). Invite to the Quran with the maximum possible fidelity. Invite EVERYONE!! Black, white, Chinese, Indian, male, female, the well off, the not so well off, young, old, straight, gay, democrats, republicans...that is come one, come all human beings.

2). Arrange a program or an institute for teaching the Arabic language to ANYONE who has an interest in learning it and/or has an interest in the Quran. Again, this should be available to EVERYONE...black, white, chinese, indian, male, female, the well off, the not so well off, young, old, straight, gay, democrat, republican...COME ONE, COME ALL HUMAN BEINGS.

From there, it is just a matter of the quran becoming somewhat of a "household name" and being FREELY DISCUSSED without harrassment from the so-called "authorities" of Islam.

This has always been the vision of Liaquat Ali of The Quran Institute. Where he is progress wise is something I have no idea of.

Salaam,
Damon.
