I enjoyed this question. I liked the response, I admit when I first read the question I was like "Yes" just automatically. But I understand the error in my answer. I had gone on my personal experience that when my eeman is low it is usually due to some conflict I have in my life either with a loved one or with myself. But then I thought more and when things are a struggle in life I have turned to the Qur'an and sometimes it has taken every ounce of energy to open it but I KNOW that if I read even one ayaat it will help soften my heart and remember Allah(SWT). It always works, it may not solve the conflict I have but it solves the conflict of me temporarily not paying attention to what Allah(SWT) has given me. I hope that makes sense. I just wanted to post about how my answer changed from YES to NO to the original question. Jazak Allah khayr for making me think about it.
Oh, and I love my little dog, Nairobi, too. :) (and the 4 phenomenally crazy cats I have too)
