Dear brother AmirAbbas,

Thank you for a nice post!

Your Question: Does falling in love (Ishq) with a human develop our love for the Creation and the Creator?!

My Answer: The answer is NO :-)

Humbly speaking, I have closely read a lot of poetry in several languages. Poetry is the chief culprit in this regard. And Persian poetry by poets such as Khayyam, Hafiz and Rumi tops the list in the world. They involve Sufism in love in an incredibly sinister fashion. They seldom care for decency and modesty in their poems and dispense poison in the garb of honey. Poets like them have poisoned especially the Persian and Turkish minds and harmed the masses beyond imagination. Turkey has their own culprits too in Turkish, Pakistan and India have their own share in Urdu & Hindi.

No one reaches the heights of insult as the classical Persian poets do. On the other hand, we have great poetic minds from Iran like Saadi, Urfi and Firdausi.

I think you might know the facts and won't mind my opinion. A student like me is always likely to be wrong.
