Who else has broken the sectarian cage better than Ourbeacon? The problem is that some ignorant people think they know a lot.
You said, "One might also think that I keep my label intact and still can follow TRUE Islam."
No, we cannot mix truth with falsehood.
2:42 Do not confound the truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth while you are well aware of it. [2:159, 3:71]
"He/She doesn't know what he/she doesn't know" :) Thus they shut the door to learning.
We all are students here but some people think they know it all. Undue criticism and sarcasm drags down our mind and heart. That baggage seems to automatically come with some packages.
Please wake up! You did not even acknowledge Sister Afsara's sound and sincere advice. Also, work on your English.
I say all this in all sincerity, therefore, smile.
Here is our Mission Statement:
Salamun alaikum (Peace be upon you!)
Our Mission Statement
Ourbeacon.com is dedicated to those who seek wisdom and knowledge wherever it is. Whether we believe in any religion or not, it profoundly affects every inhabitant of the planet in one form or another.
A vast majority of people subscribe to some religion. Islam is the second most popular, but the most misrepresented, religion in the world. In fact, Islam, instead of being a religion, is a benevolent social system of life. A discerning reader will probably like to place the Qur’an in the Sociology section of a library, and not in the section on Religion.
Our objective is to present the true picture of Islam. The most sensible way to achieve this noble objective is to present the authoritative, authentic Qur’an and its basic principles in all clarity.
It is equally important to clarify WHAT ISLAM IS NOT. The unscrupulous ‘Islamic’ clergy of much repute have peddled too many false dogmas, beliefs, and practices as “Islam” in the last one thousand years. We strongly dismiss as forgery all teachings in the name of Islam that contradict the Final Revelation of God, Al-Qur’an which is the only authentic, duly preserved source of Islam.
May God bless you all!
