Salaam to you,
Allah does not want anything from us; Allah could have created us just like robot and only operate on directions. We are here for a purpose, I know that Allah is my Master, I am his Servant, I have no need to know what Allah wants from me, I try to follow to the best of my ability the Directions that Allah sent down so many times.
I am certain that if you trust someone you just follow their directions, as much as you must follow your earthly employers, often you accept orders that you may not agree with, but you will follow those orders or else you are out of work.
With Allah in a way is you Only Creator, which is much more than anyone else in all Universes, Allah provide all we need while in this life, we are Allah servants, as Allah is our Master we must follow the Directions being sent dawn so many times to the various Prophets.
If you like to devote a little time to find the simple word “Reason” in the Book, you will get the idea why we are here and what we are supposed to do for Master.
This is just a little part; you will find a lot more by searching “Reason”. Above all, just ask Allah, rest assure that Allah will guide you there, if you have a clean heart or if you are genuine in your intent.
2:53 For this purpose We gave Moses a Code of Law, and the Criterion for you to clearly distinguish between right and wrong that you might be led aright.
2:277 Those who believe in Allah’s Laws, do works beneficial to the society, strive to establish the Divine Order and the Equitable Economic System of Zakat, have their reward with their Lord. They will have nothing to fear and no reason to be despondent. (Zakat, where everyone spends on others more than he needs (2:219), and the government is responsible for setting up this System).
