Muslims must remember that a shrine or a tomb has no place in the Deen of Islam. The Islamic way of life is meant for living people.Regular visitors to sgrines are like savages with whom occasions for trance, for faointing and for other abnormal comotose nervous conditions occur frequently. These are old customs meant to authenticate immortality and resurrection. These so called saints are like the Egyptian mummies with Muslim names.Millions thrive on these dead 'saints'.It reflects our disbelief in the Almighty....a glaring example of SHIRIK. All religions are full of stories relating to their saints and MUslims would not like to be left behind. These shrines no purpose except for weak minds and saiuls who find solace by visiting them. All this is purely subjective and far away from what Islam means. Visit Konya, it is a beautiful place like all of Turkey, but dont consider it a pilgrimage.
