I have no doubt about the evil practices of a small minority of people who have a huge effect on this planet. My post showed that it is not just the Americans that are a problem, it is all over the world; my list could contain hundreds of more evil doers. So what is the solution? Quoting the Quran is the first step. Once we understand a problem the next step is to look for cures to the sickness that is in all of us; first Medina, then the world! We must work together in our communities to bring people together; help the needy; feed the hungry. 20 million Americans are receiving food aid and at least 6 million are sleeping on the streets in this world’s only ‘superpower’!!!! They need our help. One person needs to hold out a hand in friendship and support so that we can work together to help ourselves and keep away from those who are causing the problems. Allah says that their time will come, in a short or long time, depending on the circumstances, but their time will end. When it does, are we ready to give the people a better alternative or is the hatred of others going to turn us into something just as bad?
The vast Persian Empire embraced the new leaders who were lowly Arabs in their ragged, dust ridden clothes, why? Because the Muslims had a solution to their problems; they gave them an alternative to their ‘god-men’ rulers.
Turning the other cheek is about forgiving those who genuinely repent the wrongs they have done and is not a sign of weakness; go ask Nelson Mandela how this works in practice. If they do not repent then they must be stopped from harming others and themselves. Find the right way of doing this. Empower the people from the ground up. Millions Indians were ruled by only a few thousand Englishmen; why do the masses let this happen?
My response to the discussion about white supremacists and racism was partially based on what knowing this does to us. Your posts are right on what is going on but this should lead to a debate on how to solve the problem. I read your posts and see a passionate person but this should not lead to the mudslinging and ‘over heated’ arguments that all too often happens, usually started by others, I hasten to add. The message you are trying to present is lost.
One day the rulers of the earth will learn that they will gain more by helping others and working together, not by exploitation! Synergy, not antagonism.
