Dear forum members,
Yes there was a group of muslim volunteers from my home country,South Africa, that was one of the first groups to be in Haiti.
The Muslim groups name is GIFT OF THE GIVERS.The Director is a medical doctor like our Dr.Shabbir.His name is Imtiaz Suliman.
The organisation also took medicines, food, and a rescue team to Haiti.A second team of medical specialists was despatched to perform
procedures on the rescued.
