A recent incident in Peshawar Pakistan had one of its top advocates presenting five power of attorney forms to the court so that a sister-in-law (whose husband had died)could take control of a family home from the remaining four sisters and orphaned children still living in it. The forms were forged but four out of the five officials that were involved in processing of this application took bribes of more than 25,000 Rupess each and allowed it to proceed. The fifth man, the final chain in the procedure, saw the deceipt and rejected the application.
Corruption is openly practiced in Pakistan [Bribeistan!] and this country needs sweeping reforms and honest people to be posted in positions of power and responsibility. When the army controls so much, banks, land, homes, etc surely they should instill some honesty and integrity into the society.
