Dear Sumaira, thanks for asking me these questions. I am not a scholar. I am an ordinary person just like you. Based upon, my studies of Qur’anic Arabic. I have accomplished a limited understanding of Qur’aan so far. However, I am finding major discrepancies in our current understanding of the message. Hence, I am sharing this understanding with you all. The few points that I have understood so far could be summarized as follows.
1. Our creator and Rabb (sustainer, maintainer, foster and accomplisher) is not the same as a God of any religion including current Islam.
2. He does not want us to be just his servants and worshipers. Right here all the religions just disappear. Since all of those have a deity under one or other name. That demands and need to be pleased by different rituals.
3. He is giving us the principles to conduct our life. This is what this entire book Qur’aan is about. Please just think how big the book is and how little principles we know. Most we know are to please a deity call Allah; which our Rabb emphatically denies to be one.
4. What he wants us to do? Let us come and join hands to find that out together.
