Dear Jawaid Sahab,

Thanks for including me in the list of museum valuables. You have to excuse me for my composition, it is not as eloquent as yours, but i try. I enjoy your posts along with our Dr. Shabbir Ahmed and Dr. Michael Savage, a radio talk host, with out agreeing with his thoughts and his motives. He is a double Phd from Berkely in organic sciences and ??. He has 22 top selling books like " The Enemy within" " Liberalism is a mental disorder" etc. He is a certified Anti muslim scholar, but I still enjoy his verbal class. Your posts are no less than him. One enjoys such good writings.

By instinct i am an economist, i see the world problems as a result of survival problems. Human's first need is food, followed by power. This is an instinct, religion comes when we are not hungry. So to be nice, kind and understanding one has to be full stomach. ( See people in Ramadan, more violence and more killings). All religions will fail, if people are poor, instinct of survival is too strong to think of any thing else. Our Prophet(s) and Caliphs sensed that and established a growing enterprise and an expanding trade society.

So in short, we must work on poverty, economy and progress. Only then good teachings will work, people will pray and not prey on others. Unfortunately muslim political and religous leadership is not workinng on this issue and result is every where.

It had to happen, after centuries old sleep on the earnings of previous regimes like muguls, ottomens, Abbasites, Ummaids and noble Cliphates. Muslim thought they are superior ( Afzal) and lost all edges. Others went far ahead, we are still in MohenJodaro age by knowledge. See the clay houses, sanitation, power, schools and water systems in all muslim countries around the world( Except some oil lucky emirates). The thought of religious superiority was, and is a killer pill for our present generations.

Even now if you see the annual budgets of muslim countries, you wont find education budgets more than may be 4-5% av with a very low priority. All these things combined together have resulted in current depression, anger and a violent muslim society. I can confidently say that generally only poor are violent and not educated. This is instinct and not character. it is inflammable and gets hot on any reason. Poor husbands beat wives and children, teachers beat students and neighbours fight. Hate against rich burn the society.

So we have to work on civic conditions and poverty elimination, not an easy task. West sensed that since last 500 years and are in comfort zone. China worked on that as first priority, Mao Tse Tung was ruthless on discipline and work, got the result.

Until and unless, muslim society will not work on prosperity, they will be more violent and dangerous, till they will get big dose of punishment or a nuclear, same as Japan and Germany, when they went out of control. World tolerates to a certain extent and then inevitable happens. Allah does not help those, who are selling his name and bad to humans.

So lets tell our children to be be hard working, creative, competitive and well off, so they can be Zakat givers and not takers. A divine command.
At present Entire west and japan are giving zakat to most muslim countries in the form of Aids, services, medicins, tools and loans. What a shame and a reverse tide.
