Dear Dr. Kanwar,

People use different expressions for God. Please clarify what exactly differs with using these different expressions? Does different calling constitute any contradiction of truth?

Truth is given but our thought forms ideas about those truth. Mansoor Al Hallaj thought of God as his Beloved, and felt that his own self was God, to the point that he could not even remember his own name. Bayazid Bastami thought that it was Moses who desired to see God. He said, I do not desire to see God, He desires to see me. I am I, there is no God but I, so worship me.

Faith without thinking and thinking without faith both are inconclusive.
