Allah holds people responsible only for what He has given them.

Dear Sir,
I am 31 years old muslim male. I have read all your books and found them very interesting and at the same time getting to know the truth what Allah has in store for you. I have personally read the QXP. I have an issue and I hope please dont get offended. Most people get offended but since you are student of Medicine as well as theology, I would like to ask you this question. It is a very sensitive issue and I want to also present my view points on it. Bear with me if it get little rough and bumpy.

Please read all view points as I have offered some suras in the quran that also highlight the issue. For the past 16 years, I mean ever since my puberty, I was never attracted to girls but just to boys. I have tried evrything to focus on girls, even tried to have sex with girls, just to experiment although I know this is haram, watch straight porn and tried to masturbate but I dont get aroused. but it just guys. I learnt that sexuality and religion are two intergral parts of me. I have tried to reconcile both of them. This is my own personal Jihad. So you might be wondering that homosexuality is not permissible at all. I would just want to give my views on it and ask a few questions.

24:31

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze, and to be mindful of their modesty. They should not let their charms be apparent beyond what may be decently and spontaneously apparent. Hence, let them cover their chests with a light covering. And let them not their charms be apparent to any but their husbands or fathers or husbands’ fathers, or their sons or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers, or their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, or their womenfolk, or their close dependents, or such male attendants as are beyond all sexual desire. Or, children that know nothing of women’s personal concealments. And they should not strike their feet or swing their legs in walking so as to draw attention to their hidden charms. O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! Turn all of you together to God so that you may be successful (in establishing a benevolent society).

Now, if you are referring to these men( as in lut's story) and saying dont try your lust on men instead of women or the ones who GOD has created for you would be redundant because such men dont have sexual desire for women. Now on the other hand, straight men have desires for women also unlike me. Secondly, the story of lot was a rape case. Prophet lot wanted to save the guest. but could not do anything.

36:36 Glory to Him Who has created pairs of everything that the earth grows, and of themselves, and of things they have no knowledge yet.

Now, I wonder, if I fall in category of not being atttracted to women, how should I find my pair? God created two genders only. Male and female. so it got to be a male.

53:45
- viii And that He it is Who creates the two companions, the male and the female (pairs and opposites among His creation),

51:49
And all things We created in pairs and in opposites (such that one complements the other), so that you may reflect.

So my vey basic question to you is, like in the quran, it is mentioned that some males exist without 0.00% sexual desire for women, God could have also put an exception in the above two suras saying that all things the earth produces has PAIRS except male without sexual desire for women.

4 :16 If the two of you spread such immorality or lewdness in the society, both of them shall be punished (as determined by the appropriate court of law). But if they repent and mend their ways, leave them alone. God is the Acceptor of repentance, Merciful. (This includes homosexuality, male and female.)

Just like how hetrosexual couples can spread lewdness such as making porn, prostitution, orgies, etc homosexuals can also do that.
Also the koran gives minimun punishment to couples who spread lewdness like lashing but not death so that they can repent and lead their lives again. Once agian , I can say a person of homosexual orientation can spread lewdness but if he seeks to be in a relationship based on love and commitment, the koran is giving him a chance to lead his life.

But does that rule out the possibility of long term same sex monogamous loving relationship with another person who has no sexual desire for women?

Also,WIVES ARE TILTHS - WHAT?
According to Allama Khatib Baghdadi, 'Imam' Malik and 'Imam' Shafi'i used
to have unnatural relationship with their wives quoting, "Your wives are
your tilths." (Gharaib Fil Tahqiqil Mazahib).
It is pathetic to note a fabricated Hadith naming Hazrat Umar. The topic
again was, "Your wives are your tilths." He said "O Messenger of Allah! I
destroyed myself last night! I turned my ride prone."

This shows that anal sex is not haraam even in straight marrriage case which on a realistic scale is going to take place in a same sex relationship.

But does that rule out the possibility of long term same sex monogamous loving relationship with another person who has no sexual desire for women?

Also,
16:116
Do not keep uttering in falsehood, “This is lawful and this is unlawful”, thus inventing lies against God. Those who fabricate lies against God, fail to prosper in their ’selves’

My sincere regards to you for publishing your books. They are very insightful. I am only talking about homosexualites where men have no sexual desire for women at all and only for men. I am not referring the homosexualities where men are actually straight but due to the lack of availability of girls, they try their lust on men. Homosexualities are occuring in animals also. More over Certain animals such as earth worms are hermophrodities!

Pleas let me know your insights on this issue specifically,

Peace,

Fiaz.

With the above mentioned email,
i would like to include....

4 :16 If the two of you spread such immorality or lewdness in the society, both of them shall be punished (as determined by the appropriate court of law). But if they repent and mend their ways, leave them alone. God is the Acceptor of repentance, Merciful. (This includes homosexuality, male and female.)

People of other religions including AGNOSTICS and ATHEISTS are marrying (obviously not a islamic marriage but a civil marriage) as freedom of religion being granted.

2:256 … There is absolutely no compulsion or coercion in Religion. ..

2:193 So, fight them (who compel) only until there is no more harassment, and Religion may be adopted for the sake of God alone…

3:20 If they argue with you (O Messenger), tell them, “I have submitted to God; I and those who follow me.” Say to the People of the Scripture, and to those who have no Scripture, “Would you submit to God?” If they submit, then they have been guided but if they turn away, then your duty is only to convey the message. God is Seer of His servants.

Also I am copy from chapter 4 of the qxp"this is the 4th Surah of the Qur’an. It has 176 verses. In general, Nisaa means women in the society unless the description involves husbands, when it would mean wives. Azwaaj means spouses, Zaujah is wife and Zauj means husband. Zauj also refers to either of the spouses a companion for life. The context will define the exact connotation of these terms on each occasion."

30:21

And among His signs is this: He created for you mates from yourselves, so that you might find comfort in them. And He ordained between you love and kindness. In this, behold, are signs for people who think. [Azwaaj = Husband + Wife, that are mates to, and complement each other towards fulfillment of each other’s personality]
