Our “Italian Stallion” (meant in the nicest way), shows us the way; he is working with those who help humanity and this is in contrast to a small minority of Mullahs who say we should not even give charity to non-Muslims! Caring organisations from the Salvation Army to Islamic Relief, Red Crescent and many other Muslim led relief bodies are doing outstanding work for the betterment of mankind. Those of us who have not done enough should not wait until it is too late:-

2:254 O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! Use Our Provision to satisfy the needs of fellow human beings and for the betterment of the society. Do that before the day comes when no bargaining, friendship or intercession shall be of any avail. Those who reject such sensible admonition, do grave injustice to themselves.

Evil to the evil doer looks good. Those who follow this path do so for a number of reasons, oil, power, wealth, prestige, and much more that can be mentioned.

35:8 Can you think of him whose persistence in evil (blunts his sensitivity) so that he looks upon it as good? Surely, God lets go astray only him who wills to go astray, just as He guides him who wills to be guided. Therefore, do not waste yourself in sorrowing over them. Surely, God is Aware of all they contrive. [Laws of Guidance, 4:88]

Many choose this life; others have it forced upon them by circumstances beyond their control. It is infuriating to us that the corruption that goes on at the highest levels does so with impunity. My Jewish cousins are up there with the best (worst) of them. Look at the world and at, or near the top of every powerful government, corporation, think-tank, or media institution, will be a Jew. They know how to influence the world to their advantage. They look after their own interests and that is what most human beings do. They have done what Muslims have failed to do and that is to be an influence in world affairs, but when we do it, we are supposed to be the “best of peoples”, not the worst (most people in positions of power are the least suited to be there):-

3:110 (Since you have been empowered by the Qur’an), you are indeed the best suited Community that has been raised up for the good of mankind. You shall enjoin the Right and discourage the Wrong, since you have conviction in God. Now if the People of the Scripture had attained this kind of belief, it would have been for their own good. Some of them do embrace belief, while most of them continue to drift away.
[The believers accept the Qur’an as the Criterion of Right and Wrong (3:4). It educates people on the Permanent Moral Value System and distinguishes clearly what the otherwise vague terms of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, and ‘good’ and ‘evil’ would mean]

When the Messenger sent out letters to the surrounding monarchs he asked them to change their ways, for “truth had now been made distinct from falsehood”. This was achieved then and can be achieved now if the Guiding Light of the Quran is made clear again. The darkness to overcome is the “world wide conspiracies” and the man made sharia laws that go against the laws of Allah. Unfortunately, the three “horsemen of the cause of our ongoing apocalypse” are still very much alive and flourishing:-

29:39 And such is the story of Qaroon (Korah) and Pharaoh and Hamaan! (They represented wealth, tyranny and priesthood, respectively that go hand in hand in exploiting people.) To them had come Moses with all evidence of the Truth, but they remained arrogant in the land. And certainly, they could not escape. [28:6, 28:76]

We are all human beings with those “natural feelings” but we are surrounded by a media that have turned women into objects, not human beings, so we are more “turned on” than is natural for us. When societies create an atmosphere where women are treated as mothers, sisters and daughters, only then will we see their true liberation. This sounds very “idealised”, a utopian idea that is beyond our reach, but mental attitudes can be changed by the right environment, as was shown by the transformation of Arabia from its age of ignorance to the Islamic “promised land”.

Again, we are failing the Quran by failing to implement it.
