(Is the Quran influencing our character today or not? If yes, how? If not, why not?)
BE COMMITTED TO THE QUR'AN!
Honestly speaking Sir,
QXP (or simply call it the Qur'an) changed my life since 2004. I am 37 now but I could hardly read two pages of the Book until 2004. I tried all Urdu and English translations, also learned Arabic and studied Ibn Kaseer etc.
Since 2004, before doing anything in my life I ask myself what the Qur'an tells me about it. The results are phenomenal, thank God. Ask my parents, ask my wife and little kids, my neighbors, my colleagues. They see a much better man and I see them transforming to gorgeous human beings. Yes, good is more contagious than evil.
Dear honoured ones,
Please do not think I am bragging since all laurels go to the Book of Allah, not to me. The miracle is in the Book.
If the Book does not change our life, the fault lies in our commitment.
21:10 O Mankind! Now We have revealed to you a Book that is all about you and it will give you eminence. Will you not, then, use reason? [21:24, 23:70, 43:43-44]
Humbly again, it has given eminence to this lakes and dams construction engineer currently working around Moscow.
Please study the Qur'an, most preferably QXP, with due reflection and get committed to its commands. You will see the results and the world will marvel at you. Again it's the Book.
I have already sought my mentor's permission to carry on his work all my life. By now you know who my mentor is.
Dr. Shabbir Ahmed Sahab has a litmus test for N2Is. Anyone who preaches beard and Hijab belongs to the Number Two Islam.
My litmus test for the worthy viewers is this: Are you helping the noble Mission in any way? If yes, you are sincerely committed. If not, then excuse me, either you are just talking, lazily apathetic or simply a hypocrite.
May Allah forgive me, and you forgive me, for any semblance of bragging or insincere criticism, none of which I mean.
With Salams, best regards and respects to all,
A person made good by the Glorious Qur'an.
