Dr. BB, how can N2I be better than N1I, if one is Quran follower like yourself?
‘Muslimness’ cannot be formed outside revelation, but human goodness is universal. Human fulfillment lies in obedience to God’s will. But recognition of right and wrong can come from inner self or consciousness of a person regardless of his religion. That perhaps reasons that non-Muslims can be better a better person than Muslims based on most criteria listed by Dr. Shabbir.
As a general rule, a test of a person’s goodness could be those who know him confidentially, his spouse. She sees him in the house without restraint or rule of conduct, and she is the instant proof of average goodness of a person. But in mosque or church every person looks pious, or appears to be seen to be pious, with or without beard, or turban.
That's how Sister Mehnaz knew about 'Baaroodi Moulvi'!
