(Is the Quran influencing our character today or not? If yes, how? If not, why not?)
I have an extremely important question for all and myself. (Finally, it will turn out to be a question for the Quran.)
Most viewers of this forum see themselves as Quran-oriented (Qurani-centric) Muslims.
THE QUESTION: In our daily lives, are we better than the N2I or the Hadithi Muslims or not?
In order to make the answer easy, let me put down a few criteria.
COMPARED TO OTHERS:
Are we as selfish?
Do we speak the truth?
Do we lie as much as others do?
Do we make false excuses?
Do we deceive people with words?
Do we deceive them with actions?
Do we respond to phone calls, emails and letters that the other person considers important?
Do we keep our promises?
Do others see us as trustworthy?
Are we more generous or more stingy and greedy?
Do we convey the Message to others?
Do we practically believe that we are accountable for our actions in this life and the Hereafter?
Does the belief in the Law of Recompense influence our actions?
Do you think the Quran-oriented Muslims are more reliable than others?
Do we have a better moral character?
