10 Questionable Principles for Peace of Mind

Dear Annas,

A young, even intelligent, mind tends to be gullible. Do not accept anything without due reflection. See what the Quran teaches us:

17:36 And you shall not follow blindly any information of which you have no direct knowledge. (Using your faculties of perception and conception) you must verify it for yourself. In the Court of your Lord, you will be held accountable for your hearing, sight, and the faculty of reasoning. [32:9, 45:23, 46:26. And so, the insane and the disabled will have their incapacities taken into account in a court of law]

25:73 When they are reminded of (even) the revelations of their Lord, they do not fall at them deaf and blind (with deaf and blind acceptance).
