Brother Firasat,

Many Muslim societies cannot be rated as Knowledge Society. Knowledge is a tool and a goal that positively influences society. It’s an ongoing avenue for society’s renaissance and human development in the light of true Islamic thought.

The state of education in Muslim world remains a cause for concern. A large portion of population is illiterate, two-thirds of them women. Many children do not attend classes; many do not go beyond primary education. The quality of education is poor; it lacks emphasis on specialized science and modern techniques. Overall, society lacks a critical mass of highly skilled professionals who are able to create further knowledge at par with western counterpart. AQK was created mostly on borrowed knowledge, not a knowledge created within the Muslim society.

The question is what prevents Muslim societies from excelling? According to Interior Minister, more than 473 have been destroyed in the Northern Pakistan. Girls are not allowed education. That means Muslims must learn ignorance? Whose crime is that? Try finding the clue.
