Dear Mr. Firasat,
I can feel your pain for inactive muslims in the progressive fields, i also agree with most, what you are saying. But we should remember that progress is a seasonal affair. History says so, not me. Muslim are going through a famine period and a rough patch in sciences and inventions due to their recent past, which deviated them towards soofism, ritualism etc.
A thousand years in history is an hour for historian. Any nation, which becomes rich and well off starts degenerating and goes down, as happened with Muslims, romans, persians, Egyptians, Chinese, Mongols, Russians, Germans and last Britishers. Usual peak period is 100-6/700 years. Presently USA is at its prime, but writing on the wall is there with so many wars at hand. So these things will go on, its no one's fault, it just happen. No point kicking our self.
Perhaps China will become the next superpower again and America will decline in the next decade. Probably, the interconnectivity of today's world may surface a new era.
An era, where regions and nations will not be alone in progress.
21:11 Our Law of Requital has dashed into fragments many nations because of their unjust systems and We replaced them with other people.
9:39 If you did not go forth in Allah’s Cause, His Law will afflict you with a painful doom. He will replace you with another nation. You cannot harm Him in the least. All things transpire according to the Laws appointed by Allah. [Only competent nations live honorably on earth. 21:105, 24:55]
