This is a saved copy of a previous post here on this topic.

Muslims are Mentally Infertile in Science.

I think that the Muslims are Mentally Baron / Infertile as a whole in Science since a long period of time because there is no Scientist, Philosopher, Inventor among them like Galileo (1564-1642), Johannes Kepler (1571-1630), Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727), George Stephenson (1781-1848), Samuel Finley Breese Morse (1791-1872), Alfred Bernhard Nobel (1833-96), Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1922), Thomas Alva Edison, (1847-1931), Henri Becquerel (1852-1908), Marie Curie, (1867-1934), Rutherford (1871-1937), Marchese Guglielmo Marconi (1874-1937), Albert Einstein (1879-1955), Niels Bohr (1885-1962), Bill Gates (1955 - live), etc, etc, etc.
But in Muslim Word there were born Dictators, Kings, Mullahs, & Politicians, Religious Leaders & Poets only.
It shows that Muslims do not think constructively, creatively for the benefit of humanity but only destructively, dictatorially, & protestively.
Note that Dr. Abdus Salam (1926-1996), Pakistani physicist and Nobel laureate was a Qadiani, & Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan is surrounded among “fakes”.
Allah has not created the Muslim men or women to be inferior in any respect to the rest of humans of the world.
They have themselves chosen to be so. They have willingly accepted the above rulers to guide them and guide them, guide they did but only for their own benefits. The Muslims were told to concentrate totally on how to hate and repel this world and practice meaningless rituals which will enable them to enter Heaven. The Muslims directions of the purpose of life were changed and instead of working and striving for an honorable life on earth, their main aim is to attain heaven now, by hook or crook. While they sleep and enjoy their nightmare of a life, the above thugs plunder them easily and misuse them for their own benefits. They also keep them divided into clans and sects. The Muslims now cannot get united to throw away these burden or hell in which they themselves have fallen because they wished an easy way out of the life's duties and responsibilities.

They continue to accept the rulers described and do not untidily reject them. This is a hell of their own creating and unless they act, they will continuously be preyed upon by the above mentioned gang.
Please include, Pirs, Sardars, Waderas etc in the list.

You are misinformed My brother.
The following list is a short list of many stars within the stream of islamic science. You can find more about them on google.
Stream of scientists is a function of historical changes. Once the muslims forgot Quran, The stream halted. The politics and priests pushed the religion to nonsense. They always have!
Abu Abdullah al-Battani (Albategnius)
Abu Raihan al-Biruni
Abu al-Hasan al-Mawardi (Alboacen)
Abu al-Nasr al-Farabi (Al-Pharabius)
Abu al-Qasim al-Zahrawi (Albucasis)
Abul Hasan Ali al-Masu'di
Al-Farghani (Al-Fraganus)
Al-Idrisi (Dreses)
Ali Ibn Rabban al-Tabari
Hasan Ibn al-Haitham (Alhazen)
Ibn Khaldun
Ibn Rushd (Averroes)
Ibn Sina (Avicenna)
Ibn al-Baitar
Ibn al-Nafis
Jabir Ibn Haiyan (Geber)
Muhammad al-Buzjani
Musa al-Khawarizmi (Algorizm)
Omar al-Khayyam
Thabit Ibn Qurra (Thebit)
Yaqub Ibn Ishaq al-Kindi (Alkindus)
Zakariya al-Razi (Rhazes)

Dont be so disappointed. Go through the faculties of universities of USA and Europe, you will find an unaccountable number of muslim scientists and teachers busy in research and producing most valuable data. For an example, one of the top most scientist in IU ( where i'm doing my fellowship) is a syrian muslim Dr Malaaz Boustani. He has presented his papers world wide and earned applaud from every corner, similarly Dr Abul sataar khan launched one of the biggest research on cardio vascular disorders in Scotland and its him who for the first time found a significant relationship between the levels of a liver enzyme ( ALT ) and the risk of development of Diabetes Type II. These are only couple of examples. There are thousands of muslim scientists working in labs and contributing towards the betterment of humanity. If you read medical journals, almost in every issue you would find muslim names. I'm not bragging but just type my name in google and that will take you to the pages of one of the most prestigious medical journals. I have worked in research and have published some very valuable papers. This is not to show off, i consider myself a very very small student of science, its only to sooth your heart that we the muslims are contributing to research at every level.
