Wrath of God is no more than His laws producing their results. Deviate from them and you get punished; hand in fire hurts because fires nature burns, this is not God punishing you but your own doing by not learning what harms and what benefits.Do not build earthquake proof homes, no early tsunami warning systems, no storm shelters near the sea etc so the punishment is inflicted.

Follow the Quran and it will benefit you, deviate and you will end up in misery (N2?).
