Dear Brother Naushad, Salamun 'Alaikum.
Points 15 and 16. Firstly, I want to say how much I am in total agreement with point 16 and that the Quranic education should be open and available to ALL PEOPLE of the society. The Quran belongs to all of mankind and is not the exclusive property of "Muslims".
In point 15, you suggest that we make a presentation of all of the points that you have outlined in your opening post of this thread. Shall we begin on this instead since we already know WHAT it is that we wish to do? The HOW part of any of your points may be answered in just the preparation and delivery of the presentation alone. Remember that the document that you have read by Riad and Amjad is also a presentation of a plan waiting to be acted upon. The plan that you have proposed is a tad bit more reachable because you leave enough room to start on a small and modest scale and let the momentum snowball from there. It is also workable on small and "individual" levels in addition to waiting for contributions from others.
I can START with the presentation and any questions on any of the steps can be answered as the presentation is being refined. I think it should be "concise" yet thorough and be deliverable in writing and speech. Once we have this, we need only worry about HOW to assemble the meetings of the educated youths that you have proposed in step one. When we do that, the rest will fall in place.
