Br. Shah Alam,
Your excellent post reminds me the following quotes:
-“Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it: (George Santayana). We must study and remember our history so we do not repeat our mistakes, and thus make a better world for us, our children, and all our future generations.
“History is but the version of events that everybody has come to agree upon”: (Napoleon Bonaparte). Not all of history is true. Not all of it is false. To sift fact from fiction, a little individual reasoning helps.
“History is bunk”. (Henry Ford). No, Henry. You might have got the Model-T right, but you got this one wrong. It’s Ford that is now bunk, and the reason it’s bunk is that Edsel, Henry II, and Bill didn’t study their history: their own founding father’s history.
