Most muslim keep questioning, why procedure of Salat not given in Quran, when Wudu is given in detail.

In my humble opinion, its time based remembrance of God. In Prophet(s) time, people had time, but life on planet earth is constantly changing. For example there are people, who work on nights, ports, 24 hr factories, jails, flights, Polar zones, ships, Space missions, and next on living on other planets. Different situations have different issues. The salat remembrance is left on situations and places. The compulsion is, one must be clean with ablution, that too have flexibility.

Prophet(s) continued prayers, with his best judgments, followed by Caliphs and continuing till today with additions or subtractions etc, but will it be possible after ten thousand years in the same way.
We dont know. This could be the Hikmat behind "NOT INCLUDING SALAT PROCEDURE" in Quran. Its continuity in present shape is questionable. Hence a flexibility is awarded to mankind.

In indonesdia, india, Pakistan, Egypt, and most 3rd world countries, we are already seeing people living in very slum like quarters and bunks, mosques in cubicle like spaces. Its not as easy as old times. Availability of time is another issue. The earning of bread is becoming very complex and the cost is family time, religion time, health etc. Six billion people on earth are not as comfortable as some of us are.

When we believe that Allah is Hakeem, then we must belive in his grand Hikmat.

Now about present day performance, all we have is tradition of Masjid-e-Nabvi. We should follow that as much as possible. Once again, i believe that Salat is obligatory and those, who are blessed in life with haves, must Remember Allah at Quranic times.
