The smart Dr Rashad Khalifa overstretched his #19 game. At 75% places in the Quran it simply doesn't work. But more silly is his Appendix to the Quran. It is a mythical comedy. The heavenly feud between God & Satan and other creatures, how the animals came into being, his translation of Salaat as Contact prayers, that he had a trip to the heavens and met Prophet Abraham who looked like him and his uncle - Then his theory that Satan was the God of earth, that anyone under 40 must go to paradise - He also drops the last two verses of Surah Taubah, and most of all, calls himself "the Messenger of the Covenant."
Another big joke: The family of the exalted Prophet insisted on removing those two verses and that is why the "tragedy of Karbala" (a fantastic fiction on a fantastic fiction) took place. Not a single narrator has ever claimed what Rashad did.
Some orthodox Muslims, probably from the Caribbeans, stabbed him to death in the belly while he was going to Masjid Tucson to offer his beloved morning "Contact Prayers". This happened in 1990 when he was 55. No matter what, we cannot endorse any violence.
