Dear shoab , edip , dr. shabbir and others

I have been studying the quranic aspect of as-salat for the past six months or so now. I have read dr.shabbir's qxl and have read articles and debates posted on free-minds. Today i had the pleasure of reading all of the threads posted on this subject in this forum. I am extremely joyfull that there are out there people around the world who realy and truely love the quran and want to revert back to its original message.

I have read aya for aya describing as-salat in the quran with different translations, but as you all know because of "translation" one does not get the whole picture, in fact you get aya's which contradict each other!

My main point in writing to all of you learned gentlemen is that the only person who agreed with me on this issue is a small unkown writer but a great (dr.qamar zaman) one at that who has published and has online the subject of as-salat as per meaning in the quran. Unfortunatly his writing is in urdu but i wish it was possible for you All to understand it , and i hope that it will be some day available for all of us who are wondering in the dark about this subject , of it being a physical act or a mental act. As-salat is the whole aspect of the deen, deen islam, why did ibarahim leave his son in the desert to just get people to bow and pay the poor due? no it is the full and complete way of islam to be established in the desert or anywhere.

So of my brothers and sisters who can understand the urdu language please pass by this website and get enlightenment. www.aastana.com
