I said it, "People who ask such questions often ask them to show piety." The rebellious minded people try to find fault in Islam.

Using our sense, doing reflection and thinking are essential requisites per Quran. Would you rather be an animal or even worse?

8:22 The worst of creations in the Sight of God are the deaf and the dumb, those who do not use their intellect. [2:18, 16:76]

Does Allah say in 2:187 that adaptation is a crime? Can't you think of ease for the traveler and sick?

There is no hardship in Islam.

22:78 Strive hard in God’s cause, with all the striving that is due to Him. It is He Who has elected you to carry the message and has placed no hardship in religion, the Creed of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims (Submitters) in the bygone days and now in this revelation - That the Messenger may be a witness for you and you be witnesses for all mankind! (You shall be the watchers over people that no community oppresses the other.) So, establish the Divine System and set up the Just Economic Order, and hold fast unto God. He is your Lord Supreme, and how excellent is this Giver of support! [2:143, 2:288. Muslimeen = Muslims = Those who submit to God alone]

Go to a Masjid if still in doldrums. Or ask your parents, family and friends.
