Security of Life

Pakistan’s Prime Minister recently commented that his country is faced with menacing extremism mainly because of incorrect understanding of the Holy Quran by Taliban. He said that his government has vowed to uproot every miscreants from its country and will make Pakistan a secured society.

How far we take the statement as his government resolve is a question mark. Like there is no security of life in a jungle, there is no such thing as stand alone ‘secured life’ in a human society. Security of life is a result of educated and heightened awareness of its masses; their ability to distinguish and practice between good and bad, moral and immoral, right and wrong, just and unjust, etc.

Can government deliver that?
