LAHORE, May 07: The Chairman of Ansar Burney Trust and Pakistan's former Federal Minister for Human Rights, Ansar Burney has said that most of the ‘Madrasas’ in Southern Punjab is under the control of Taliban’s and they are giving teachings of Talibanisation and creating hatreds against Non-Muslims and different sects of Islam.
Ansar Burney said that these children in most of the ‘Madrasas’ in far flung remote areas of southern Punjab are getting education to kill a Non-Muslim and other sects of Islam and in some cases children in these ‘Madrasas’ are even getting training to fight for their so-called ‘Jihad’.
Expert Advisor on Human Rights in the United Nations at Geneva, Ansar Burney, recently visited some of the remote areas and confirmed that the Talibanisation in the remote areas in southern Punjab is increasing day by day.
“Some of the Terrorist Mullahs are taking poor children into their Madrasas and making them Talibans.” Mr. Burney confirmed.
“Before it could be too late now it’s the responsibility of the Government to take immediate action against these Mullahs those creating hatred against Non-Muslims and against different sects in Islam and should enquire as to from where these Mullahs in such remote areas are getting funds to run Taliban’s Madrasas?” Ansar Burney said.
“The recent statement of Governor Punjab Salman Taseer also confirmed the same in that he admitted such reports from southern Punjab.” Mr. Burney added.
