So.........is Pakisatan not already an Islamic Republic where no laws will be made that run counter to Qur'an and Sunna?? Oh, I see. Not Islamic enough for Talibaan and extremists who want to challenge the writ of the government and spread chaos in the name of reform.

We all know Pakistan is not perfect, but is this the right way? I think we should start hearing the alarm bells and make efforts on an urgent basis to reform the judicial system, where justice is neither cheap nor fair for the weak and the poor and is easily influenced. If we will not fix it, the people will run for the Taliban to come and fix it with their so-called Nizam e Adl. The other institution that needs to be done away is the feudalism that puts people with money on the top (through elections) and history has shown, they are unable or unwilling to introduce real reforms in the country. If, we don't get rid of them, the Talibaan will with the support of the suffering poor who are fed up.
