With the first edition completed in 2003, this is the most modern and the first ever rendition of the Qur’an done in full public view on our Forum since day one. The Qur’an maintains that it is a Book that explains itself, and surely it does. Therefore, no extrinsic matter has been used in this work except for a very sparing use of history only for the sake of interest and it is, by no means, an essential part of the rendition itself. Special care has been taken to keep in mind the Arabic dialect of Makkah in which the Book was revealed to the exalted Prophet Muhammad fourteen hundred years ago and present it in the contemporary English of the 21st century in a way easy enough for a teenager to understand.
